AC issue?

Woke up this AM and noticed our AC unit was not blowing as hard as it had. Changed speeds low/high and no difference in speed of air. The ac unit changes speeds or noise but no change in air speed out of vents.

This is our first big trip and it is in NM/AZ so ac is going to be kinda important.

2018 Jayco 267BHS.

Any thoughts on what to check? We are newbies!!

Turn it off for a 1/2 hour and see if that makes a difference. It could be freezing up. Leave your fan on high.

FYI-our master bedroom AC in our North Point 377RLBH had a damper inside that dislodged (happened on many others) and was causing airflow issues. I took pictures and posted in mods to 377 RLBH. I’m traveling today so can’t lookup the post number. It might be in the index up front. Hope this helps.

See my thread here:
https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...fix-58004.html

As mentioned, there's a foam baffle between the intake and output sides that becomes dislodged easily.

Like Norty1 said could be freezing up..Had a RV tech one time told me to always run the fan on high to prevent this. I listened and never had a problem again.

High humidity and low fan speed will cause the coils to freeze slowing air flow coming out.

I am betting NM/AZ is dry this time of year.

NOPE! This is the monsoon season. The humidity is at its highest. Maybe not extremely high humidity compared to other parts of the country, but high for us.

Phoenix was hot this week...105-107 while I was there. But I'm glad I won't be there next week...113-117!!! Unfortunately, when I got back to Dallas today it was 108! I can't win!
