AC Rattle Dometic Brisk II

Folks, the AC rattling noise our JAYCO 245RLS is driving me nuts!
It was impossible to even hold a conversation inside with the AC running until I installed a MicroAir Easy Start. Easy Start eliminated the starting CLUNK, and the fan is now “whisper quiet” compared to before. Even the rattling noise was gone for a while but now it’s back and more noticeable since the fan is quieter. The rattle sounds like the same frequency as the compressor. Thought it would be easy to locate.

I have removed the filter and inspected from below, removed the cover and inspected from above, jammed some papers between the cowling sides and AC frame. Nothing makes a difference.

Has anyone found the “hidden source” of this infernal rattling?

My new Jayco had developed a loud rattle noise from the AC. Ended up being a coolant line that was too close to another metal part and was vibrating against it. Easy fix once I got up on the roof and removed the AC cover.
