Access to Back of Television

We have a 2018 Jay Flight 29RLDS with a factory standard flat screen Furrion TV. It’s part of an entertainment center, and it is mounted recessed in a “wall” across a corner of the dining area slide-out. I would like to plug a Fire TV Stick into an HDMI port on the backside of the TV, but darned if I can figure out how to swivel, slide, detach or in any way move the television so that I can plug the Fire TV Stick in. There is an HDMI port on the front of the DVD player that might work, but we don’t want the Fire TV Stick and it’s attachment and charger cables hanging out of the front of the entertainment center. Anyone have any idea on how this TV is mounted?

My 28BHBE had the TV mounted inside a swiveling "box" of sorts. But the mount itself was actually an articulating arm, swing-out type mount. That TV mount had a "travel clip" that held the arm in place, it was defeated by pulling down smartly on a strap behind the TV. Reach up behind the TV best you can or use your phone camera to see what the actual mount looks like. There may be a strap or cable or something hanging loose behind the TV. If you find it, give it a yank downward and see if the arm can be released?

Thanks Camper Bob. I'll give it a try next time we're at the camp site.

Ours had the strap hanging down in the back of the tv. A quick pull down and the tv can be swung and swiveled outward.

Then we just push the set straight back Again and it snaps back into place.

Thanks JohnnyLee. We keep our camper at a “permanent” site, but the next time we're there I'm hoping to find that our TV is mounted like yours and Camper_bob's. And, by the way, your quote from Jesus is right on! I just wish more people took it to heart.

Thanks to a couple of you, my wife and I went to the camper this week and she found a strap beneath/behind the TV just as you suggested we might. One easy tug and she was able to pull the TV a foot or so from the corner! We wouldn't have figured it out on our own.

Not a Pinnacle but on my Eagle there are 4 bolts that attach it to the Televator bracket.

I found this post while trying to figure out how to remove the bedroom TV in my 2021 North Point 377. Your answer might be in post #2..

https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...nts-84528.html

Unfortunately, I still haven't figured out how to get bedroom tv off. I tried sliding up, as suggested in the post, but no luck.

If you have the Kebloc articulating arm, there is a lever at the bottom of the mount, you have to reach up under the TV to get to it. If you have the stationary mount, the is a little lever in the muddle down just a bit, move the lever, lift the bottom of the TV out and the up off of the mount.

Video about Kebloc mounts

On our 2019 Whitehawk 27rb, the tv in the living area was solidly mounted (no swivel or articulation) and it was released by reaching up under tv with both hands and release spring loaded lever on each side of mounting bracket by pushing the lever toward the back of the tv. The bottom wll then pivot out and you can lift the tv off the mount.

Our tv in the bedroom used the Kebloc system and was removed as BanjoBob said.

Hope this helps someone...
