Add Awning To Slide?

2015 Jay Flight 33RLDS. Id like to add an awning to the door side slide. Has anyone ever done this? Is it even possible? Thanks.

Friends of ours have an awning attached to the slide on the door side.

I seem to recall that was an option on our 5th.

You can if there is backing in the wall. You'll have to find out from Jayco if they put structural backing in the wall for the attachment of an awning.
