Adding a receiver hitch to the TT

I have a 2011 29 QBH and I would like to put a receiver hitch on the back so I can pull my boat without having to carry 2 vehicles. What receiver hitch would be recommended.

I have '12 29QBH that I had a Custom Hitch & Muffler shop fabricate a 2" receiver and install it. I only use it for bike racks and/or a cargo carrier, however the shop provided a 350/3500 rating. In CA tandem towing is only legal if the first trailer is a 5th or gooseneck, but if it was legal that receiver would support a lot of smaller boat trailers.

We are looking at getting this one when funds allow so we can haul our bikes on the back of the trailer and not in the trailer.

Just remember the majority of states that allow double towing require it to be with a FW.

Will 72" reach the frame rail to frame rail span? It would not on my JayFlight, would need ~80".

For about the same price of e trailer you can have a local welding shop custom build you one . As stated above most states require the first unit to be a fifth wheel also now some states require a second set of chains attached to the outer edges of the rear hitch.
