Adding fold out assist handle

Hello all. Love the Jayco forum!
I have a 2015 26BHC. I Bought it in October and have been working on my long list of mods. Last weekend I did an axle flip and gained 5 inches of height. I purchased an aluminum step to make up the height difference to the stock fold out steps. But with three steps in total now I want to add a fold out assist handle. I ordered a Stromberg Carlson Lend -a-hand assist handle from Amazon. I have two questions. Does anyone know if there is any structure behind the wall next to the door to mount the handle to? And obviously the aluminum siding is not flat. Any ideas of the best way to deal with the uneven surface?
Thanks for any input.
Jeremy

I am in the same boat as we need an assist handle next to the door. Does anyone know if the side of the 195RB door is a good place to put the handle.
I have seen them on many models out there and would like to do it myself.

I guess I would hate it if there is nothing there to screw it to.

thanks!

Besides the door is always the door frame, so you would be good (check with a stud finder) The original handle is fasten in this also.
