Adjustable power awning

I am not sure the model I have, but they are all similar. You have to push the spring clip to adjust the height. My clips are a real pain to get pushed in. Is there a pin or something you guys have used in place of the clip? Looking for ideas.

Thanks
Chris

I used a punch to adjust mine. You could use a crosspoint screwdriver small one to do the same thing

Mine are impossible to move with the awning extended, easy peasy with the awning retracted. Figure out how much you want to change, retract the awning, adjust the arm, then extend again.

The problem is getting the clips pushed in far enough to release the slide. Will try this. Thanks

When I had an awning with the buttons / clips to adjust the pitch, I just used a small piece of a wooden dowel. It fit perfectly in the hole and depressed the clip enough to slide the arm...
