Air compressor recommendations?
I'm looking for a portable heavy duty air compressor for my TT. Tire pressures are 80lb. Any recommendations? Warning?
Thanks

X2. They are well-built machines and connect directly to your TV battery. My 88p airs up my TT tires (65 psi) and LRE truck tires (80 psi) with ease. Don’t mess with the cheaper stuff that plugs into your cig lighter/power port. Well worth the $70 spent. https://www.viaircorp.com/portables/88p

I guess, I have never figured out why anyone would want a single purpose pump. I use this:
It operates anywhere, with or without a vehicle or 110VAC. I use it with my brad nailer, occasionally. I've had in on the roof for some trim repair. I even use it for a quick minimal winterization after our last camping trip of the year, if the temps are dropping. And possibly best of all, it allowed me to get a new set of brushless 18V tools and batteries to go with it. . . .

PS Combine your compressor (of any type) with these from Amazon.
They are awesome!

Mainly $240 vs $70. I have a $100 Craftsman 3-gal hotdog compressor at home for everything else. Works for me.

I did buy mine on sale. I think it was $182 including tax. The 12V compressors just seem like $70+ down the drain to me for one thing that would rarely get used.

We have viair compressors on about 40 trucks in our fleet. To my knowledge we don't have any issues with them except for the cut off pressure switch. But that's because we Mount them on the frame of the truck and the pressure switch is exposed to a lot of junk

I have also used the superflow and Master Flow air compressors by Q Industries and they seem to be okay

I have this Viaair compressor. Spent a little more but so worth it. https://www.amazon.com/VIAIR-30033-3...1278015&sr=8-2 and it's by far the best air compressor I've ever had.

I'm not a tradesman so my batteries could use the exercise.

After killing a few inexpensive cordless compressors trying to get my tires up to 70 or 80 PSI and never having 110 volts for my hot dog compressor when I needed it most, I splurged for the Viair 400P-RV.

This thing has never failed to impress.
