Air Conditioner Brands and Compatibility

We have a 2021 267BHS that came with the GE Rooftop ducted AC. So far, it seems to work well. I've always been partial to the Coleman Mach 15K. Does anyone know if it would be easy to swap my GE with a Coleman later down the road? I'm wondering how "Plug and Play" this would be if they simply have same wiring harness or what the hookup would entail

Your thoughts are appreciated

The Winnie I'm looking at also has the GE AC. Seems to work well (for the little time I ran it when I was looking at the coach for the first time).

I believe dropping a Coleman in shouldn't be a big deal at all.

Like you, I'm wondering if this GE is any good.

Check out the Furrion. It has 2 separate motors for the condenser and discharge. Quiet and very efficient.
I just replaced the one in my bedroom with one. Works great.

Coleman and Dometic are pretty good. I would question GE.

From my research it seems like GE just adapted their window unit AC forms to fit an RV rooftop design. GE has been making AC's for a long time so I feel confident that design/quality should not be an issue. I must say the GE has the absolute best divider partition setup. It is not like the foam board duct taped in place like the Coleman uses. The GE divider is very well designed and I think will be very very efficient.

We purchased a furrion air conditioner last year. Used it in Florida last winter and we just got a new air compressor.
They to us it is quiet. Not true it is very noise. To clean the filters are a pain. Good luck.
