air conditioner/furnace fan

Have a 2017 28RLS. The thermostat has low and high settings for air and furnace, but fan only runs on high. Dealer said this is correct and only has one fan speed (and that Jayco just puts a standard thermostat that has both fan speeds on all trailers?!). Is this right? The high speed fan is quick noisy and we don't always need it on high. Thanks!

I've got a pretty basic Coleman Mach (the one with slider control) on my 2017 29MV and both fan speeds work. I think the dealer may be blowing smoke. I'd call Jayco's customer service and ask them directly. (574) 825-5861

I have a 2017 27DSRL and both high and low fan speeds work it. The control unit is similar to one on JonDirk's post.

I have a 28RLS and there are two speeds when running AC or Heater and only one speed when running fan only. There is only a small difference between high and low speeds

Are you talking about a/c or furnace. A/C has Hi & Low, all standard RV furnaces only have one speed.

X2 An a/c function only on the fan speed.

I've got a 2015 and AC has a high and low speed. We only use the high speed fan for 2 reasons... #1 there is only a slight difference in sound between low and high, not enough to be bothered about. #2 running the fan on high is better for the AC, moving more air across the coils lowers the chances of the coils freezing up.

Is there a thermostat out there that will let you run the furnace and the A/C fan at the same time? My current thermostat (coleman mach) won't let that happen as the furnace/off/fan/cool switch are all on one sliding switch.

Have never seen one, since furnace fan is controlled by demand for heat and the furnace's internal circuitry.

Yeah I am trying to figure out how to run the A/C fan only in parallel with the furnace. Maybe two separate controllers? It helps to circulate the heated air a bit better imo.
