air in water line
I normally use the city water supply when camping but carry a couple of gallons in the on board tank just in case.
Today I wanted to get some water from the on board tank to fill a bowl to leave inside the RV while in storage because of the hot weather. I was told this helps the wood not to dry out.
I turned on the pump and turned on the kitchen faucet and the water was coming out but had a lot of air in the lines. The water sputtered for several minutes and never ran smooth. Any suggestions on if I need to bleed the lines and how to do it. I have never had this problem before with using the on board water supply.
It's a 2012 Jayco 29 RLDS.
Thank for any suggestions

If you inspect your woodwork closely, you'll find that it's actually some kind of soft, white wood with a wood-grain vinyl clad material on it.

You will need to run water through all of your faucets and toilet to purge all of the air from the system. Then you should get a smooth, even stream of water. It may take a minute or so at each to clear the air from the lines. If you don't have enough water in the fresh water tank, you will be sucking air and water, and you will never get the lines bled. Make sure you have plenty of water in the tank so you are picking up only water.

What Bobx2 said. Do one at a time. Hot, then cold on each faucet.

Thank you both for the help. I will do that and see it works.

You have a faucet open somewhere. Or water heater is not bypassed.

Could also be that the antifreeze fill hose valve is still open

All faucets are closed but I didn't bypass the water heater. I didn't know I had to do that if I wasn't using it

If you have been connected to city water, the water heater should be full. If it is full, you don't need to bypass it. The pump would also be running nonstop trying to fill it if it was not full. I don't think that is the problem here.

Just saying it could be if the wh was drained and not bypassed.
Still think a valve is letting it suck air or the fresh water tank is low or closed off to the pump somehow.
