Air vent cover question

Hello I have jayfeather 22rb 2021 in the living area there is a air vent that has this fancy powerful fan I was told that if I wanted to put an air vent cover on it that I would have to get a diffrent more expensive cover because the air flow wouldn't be enough just wondering if there is any truth to this or would the standard max air vent suffice just fine
