Another awning question

Our electric awning requires two people to get it out. The problem is that the forward arm requres someone to give it a jiggle, as it sticks shortly after the "out" button is pushed. It's still in warranty, but I don't want a dealer monkeying with it if I can handle it myself. Any ideas?

Ours does that also. Luckily I can reach it as the awning arm that sticks is right by the door and is also close to the switch.

We are not so lucky, ours is the back one. I have our 10 year old daughter give her a tug and it comes right out. I hate to fix it though since she thinks this is one of her jobs to do when we are setting up.

Guess I'll live with it since it's so common. And Mr. 24T, what a great attitude!

Had the same problem, while it was in for some work told them about it and they tweeked the arms that were hanging up. Just moved them a little. Now it works like a champ. Ernie

To Ernie and all my friends cooking in lower AZ and our old home back East, we turned on the electric blanket last night! Cook on!
