Another new X213 owner here!

I just noticed another forum member also posted about his new X213, so thanks for all of the great info you already gave him, it also applies to me as well! Very useful for another newbie like me. I'm glad to see someone else also having the same TT as we do, it'll be nice to be able to share tips and tricks and such!

So, long story short, we are also picking up a 2015 X213 (picture below). Will most likely take delivery on February 20th if we can get out there by then. Really excited to start doing some road trips and camping with the family.

We'll be towing with a 2015 F150 Lariat Sport FX4, with the 5.0 V8. I'm also getting the WD hitch through the dealer, a Husky Roundbar. I won't know 100% exactly what it's coming with until we get there, the spec sheet was a little cryptic, but I'm going to take all of your information from the other thread with me, I've already typed up a list of things you've recommended to look into as well.

Thanks for all of the great information and looking forward to interacting with everyone!

Congrats! Looks like we bought the same rig around the same time. I'm sure we'll be bouncing information back and fourth in the months to come.

Would you be able to confirm the ball size on the 2015 X213? I'm getting mixed information. Thanks!

Yep! You were the other guy I was referring to, great thread with great info. Good question on the hitch ball size, it never even dawned on me to check into that since I'm getting my WD hitch setup through the dealer I'm buying at, they said they were going to get me all set up there.

But doing some searching around, it appears this needs a 2+5/16" ball. I happened across this thread, coincidentally from this forum: http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f3...ize-20984.html

Hope this helps!!

So strange, I posted another reply with a link to a thread in this forum but when I posted it, it said a mod needed to approve, probably because of my link. I found another thread in here that talks about the X213 ball size being 2+5/16". My other post will probably show up after this one, so when it does, don't be confused.
