I'd be very surprised if the problem fixed itself, or you fixed it. My first guess is you may have an intermittent short or wire that has a poor connection. Did you read the number of flashes to determine what the code indicated the problem was before you tried to over-ride it? If not, next time it happens, count the flashes and determine what it indicates. That will get you started on troubleshooting.
