Ant invasion

Any thoughts. Nothing worse than when we get the little ants in our house. But they are all over our counter and got in our food. Ran into town got some ant houses and some spray. They seemed to be here as soon as we set up. So not sure if we brought them or what.

This Raid liquid is the best that I have used, just put a couple drops in some bottle caps and they will be gone in no time.

Until sprays and poison bait work the best thing right now is to clean with serious cleaners all surfaces you can reach. A crumb, oil spatter from frying, a dropped bit of anything edible will attract them. Keep ALL open foods in the fridge or in sealed containers. Clean all your cabinets as bits of food may have dropped on any shelf from any box.

We winter in Florida and do this at all times and rarely have a problem with no regular spraying.

And you might have parked on an ant mound.

If they are the "sweet loving" ants that like anything with sugar or sucrose, Terro liquid ant bait works great. I'm assuming the Raid liquid is similar - just borax mixed in a liquid attractant.

TERRO ant bait, it is IMO the best stuff out there. Within days you will not see an ant.

Got some traps and problem pretty much solved. Looked like they were coming in the power cord hole. There was a trail there down the cord. Sprayed the hole as well as the cord
