Antenna poor quality

We have a 2020 Jayflight SLX and the antenna is not very good we camp between Chicago and Milwaukee area so I don’t know why the stock antenna is garbage ? Any suggestions for an auxiliary antenna? Thanks

What have you done to determine that it is not very good?
Has it worked in other areas?
Have you turned on the amplifier on the antenna control?
Have you re-scanned the tv for your area?

It could be bad or loose coax connections. Some have found the fittings aren't tight and other's have found the fine ground wires touching the main conductor. I would start there.
