Antenna question

Hello all,

I picked up my new 242BHSW yesterday and saw that there is a metal antenna on the roof of the trailer. Its mounted towards the front of the trailer and it looks to sticks up about a foot or more. It looks like a old car antenna. I have a few questions on it

Is this antenna for the radio?

Has anyone put a cover on their TT with this antenna, are there any issues doing it?

Is there a replacement antenna that does not stick up so high?

Thank you

It sounds like the radio antenna. There should be a screw that when loosened will allow you to lay it down for covering.

Yep that is the radio antenna. There is a screw on the side that allows you to lay it down or remove it. When covering, I️ just remove it.
