No. I have a set of the custom fit CIPA slide on mirrors. But these look pretty nice.

I had a pair of CIPAs on my F150 and they fit and performed perfectly. They were a little touchy to get the right adjustment on the auxilliary mirror, but once you got it, they never went out of adjustment.

Sully, are those supposed to fit the newer Silverados? the 2007 thru 2013 mirrors are same but the 2014-2015 are different. I used the CIPAs on my 1500 and really liked them.

OP, I have those on my '12 GMC Sierra. They're pretty good, they fit well, but they vibrate somewhat. They will work if you want to see, but you're not reading any plate numbers in them.

They're also a bit of a bear to get on and off until you get them "broken in". Of course, they're plastic, and they don't really break in, but there is a little bit of a trick to getting them on and off easily. DW doesn't have the finger strength, so she doesn't like them.

I had them on my 08 Tahoe they are the best I would leave them all summer and wold get complements from different people on the road. The best part no wedges or plastic screws. I need to buy a set for my new ford and sell the ones from my Chevy.

I currently use a set of mirrors that have a rubber strap with a ratcheting mechanism to snug them up. I got these from O'Reilly auto. They work okay, but can't see out the passenger side all that well. Are the Cipa slip ons really that much better? Or even the ones shown by the OP? Is there enough of a difference to make the change?

Hitch Pin, do you see any noticeable vibration? I've read that that is one problem with many add-ons. Second question, does the bolt that holds them in place leave a mark on the backside of the original mirrors? Mine are painted to match the vehicle and I don't want to scratch the paint.

Sorry about the delayed reply, I was late getting back from church. To tell you the truth I haven’t had the truck very long, I just received the mirrors last week, and have not used them yet, they are really nice, the fit is very good. The bolt that your asking about does not touch the mirror, it goes against a clip that holds it on. The clip has rubber on it so it will not hurt your painted mirrors.

Watch the video on this web page, I think it will help you.

I would leave the FIT mirrors on all summer on my Tahoe and no marks they would have a little vibrations but you could still see good enough not as good as factory tow mirrors but better than the CIPA

wanted to update this post. i went ahead and bought the mirrors based on the good reviews on amazon.

they fit like a glove over the factory mirrors, so well that i had a VERY hard time getting the passenger side mirror to snap on. there are small strips of foam inside to keep the shell from rubbing against the factory mirror. there is some minor vibration, but nothing to be concerned about. you may not be able to read a license plate on another vehicle, but they serve their purpose, which is to allow you to see around your TT. the best part is that i can take them off when i'm not towing. i would highly recommend these as a less expensive alternative to factory towing mirrors.
