My excuse is that the slide needs to operated to keep it lubricated, the pump needs to run, the AC/Heater need to cycle, batteries need to be topped off, ... there is a great deal of "work" that needs to happen to keep the RV ready to roll. Naps are just a necessary by product!

hah, you know its one of those things that when you do it, you wonder if anyone else does it. as soon as we bring the TT to the house there is someone hanging out in it.

I have, from time to time, such as today, gone out and sat for awhile, or sometimes just piddled around a little. Sometimes, cut the TV on, etc. Or enjoyed a soft drink and pack of peanut butter crackers.

There is nothing wrong with what everybody is doing. Nothing at all.

Absolutely! We keep ours hooked up at the house and sit under the awning every day. Just seems more relaxing after daily stresses.

The place I park my trailer at home is more private than where I park it in Florida to spend the winter.

When I run out of "projects" to do on our TT I sometimes just go down there and hang out with it.......if I sit there long enough I can come up with new and exciting mods to add to the list

Just sad our local campground is closed for the season already. We are eagerly planning all kinds of new adventures for next season. And slowly accumulating necessary and some unnecessary items throughout the winter season. Right now seems to be a good time to collect on some great end of season clearance items. We saved $130 yesterday on a surge protector and some leveling blocks. My wife of almost 41 years myself and our 2 beagles Suzie 3 & 1/2 and Lucy 1 &1/2 are thouroughly enjoying every aspect of it....so far anyway.

I keep mine plugged in to shore power that being said during the summer when the temperature gets into the high 90's I will fire up the a/c and watch movies while I lay in bed.

Came out a couple hours ago...in the driveway and turned the heat on. It's 38' out and the wind is really blowing. Warm and toasty. Relaxing out here while DW is cleaning the real house ....it's a dangerous time to be in there anyway..lol. Playing on the internet ...multi tasking...watching something on tv...don't even really know what..lol...who cares. Told DW I was sleeping out here tonight. She asked if I was mad..lol. Nope I replied....just want a real good night's sleep. Invited her and the girls ( two beagles) they declined. Oh shucks anyway. More room in the bed for me. Sure love the magic this thing creates.

I have an old farmhouse that doesn't cool well on those really hot nights. I think it is a great idea to just use the trailer.
