I just went through my Jayco dealership for getting those cabinets to go along side the original cabinets. The dealership just needed to supply the Jayco plant of my trailers serial number so the correct finish was applied.
The cabinet and the hardware was about $150 which included the shipping.
Good luck!

How did you mount them to the wall? Sheet metal screws to the stud?

I used wood glue and 1-1/4" coarse wood screws to mount the side wall wood bracing. I was careful to not screw so far in where the screw tips poked thru the wood on the outside.

To jmkdopkins,
The added kitchen cabinet and 3rd kitchen drawers are great ideas. Am now in the process of ordering both. But how did you attach the cabinet to the trailer wall? Depending on difficulty, I'm considering having my RV Dealer do the install.
Many thanks for the great ideas!

yep. Im ready to upgrade. Want a slide version to have the roomer space at kitchen/dinette area.

I was wondering if this was the case with this particular model since seems to be far cheaper than many other Jayco trailers. I've been toying with the idea of getting a travel trailer for the past few years and with the whole Covid thing going on for the foreseeable future it might be the time to pull the trigger. We are renting a 224BH in a few weeks to see how we like it and it looks like that floorplan is essentially the same as the 264BHW but you trade the couch for the outdoor kitchen. I would likely get a small smoker or grille to take along so having the outdoor kitchen doesn't sound essential but since I have 9 and 11 year old boys and a dog the extra seating would be nice.

2019 264BH Modification
Added a curtain to make the bathroom/vanity a little larger and more private.

This past june we picked up a new on the lot 2018 264. Looked at a 242 but decided on a couch as opposed to a outside kitchen. 1 trip so far, hard to make time when on call every other week. Next trip is the end of august.
Couple of mods before first trip. Command hooks in bathroom, led lites in storage areas, and a bu camera so I don't scratch the bumper of the camper behind me (doh) in the storage locker again.
When the warranty is up, I plan on putting the axles under the springs so I can make it across the low water bridge at deer camp. Thinking about moving the rear stabilizers foward and putting on some kind of caster/wheels in the rear just in case.
Sold my bitchen dune buggy to make the tt happen.

Recently bought a 2021 264bh. Used it once and about to leave again. Love it so far. Perfect for our family of 4 and petite Golden doodle. The full size double bunks are great for the kids. It also pulls like a dream.
Added 4" memory foam topper on queen bed, 28" TV at the dining area, and backsplash behind the stove. Moved the spare tire over and added received hitch for bike rack. Also coated all exposed metal with Fluid Film.
Plan on adding extra support under beds, replacing dining table with a custom oak table, adding foam panels beneath beds, TV in front bedroom, extra battery, led lights in compartments, led lights under trailer, and possibly a solar panel.

Curtains
Glad you like the room divider.
I got the (ceiling mount track) and curtain from my dealer in Williamsport, PA. He used my vin number to order a duplicate curtain to match the one from the bedroom. He had the ceiling track in stock. I had a local seamstress cut new curtain width and side hem it to eliminate excess material.
Total installation time - 20 minutes.
Total cost:
$76.00 for the curtain
$12.00 for the ceiling track
$ 8.00 for alterations

Rewired the step light to a dedicated On-Off-On switch so I can turn it on manually, separate from the awning light, have it come on with the awning light, or off all together.
Installed a 2 pin charging connector in the back and ran a charge line up to the battery. Now I can easily plug in my Battery Tender to keep the battery topped off when it's sitting in the driveway workout a long extension cord or leaving the shore power plugged in.
Lots more to do on the list ... I guess I have plenty of time to get it done.
Driveway camped Friday night for our first "outing" of the year. All in all a success, although I succeeded in almost freezing the family out. Apparently the propane tank I turned on was almost empty.... Woke up with a very cold arm at 4AM and found the inside temp down to 54. Turned the other tank on and warmed it right back to. Thankfully everyone slept through it, though the kids had their blankets pulled up pretty high and the dog was curled up on the couch in a seemingly impossibly tight ball. Talk to me about your diy stabilizers that I see on the side of the steps. Getting ready to make these and was wondering about lengths and angles cut for them that will work the best? Thanks

We purchased our 2019 Jayco 264BHW in late September 2019 and have been on 2 trips so far. Would have been on 2 more but COVID canceled our planned trips in March and mid-May.
Like many of you, we enjoy the functional layout, simplicity and amenities of our Jayco travel trailer. And it is very easy to pull with our older F150 SuperCrew with 5.4 liter truck.
We bought our trailer new with the propane tank cover, lighted power tongue jack and back-up camera. But since have added an electrical master shutoff switch (located in the front pass-thru storage compartment), center brace for the queen size bed, new kitchen back-splash, and slide-out drawers under both dinette seats. But have gotten a lot of great ideas for more DIY mods and additions from reading this thread!

Could you please tell me how you went about installing the sliding drawers under the dinette seating?

Hi Troy B,
The details for adding the sliding drawers are on this same thread. Look for post #60 on page 3 dated May 26, 2020.

Just curious, your post talks about a 264bhs but your signature says you have a 28bh. Are they the same trailer with the same layout?

I just winged it really. Looks like I ended up at 32". I cut the ends at 45 degrees. Ended up taking a little more out of the top so it would fit into the frame nicely. I've seen some people round off the bottom instead of cutting it at an angle.

I'm a first time TT owner. Bought our 264BH a couple of months ago and am trying to de-winterize it so that we can use it. Finding the user manual not very helpful. Any suggestions where I can get some help?
