Anyone ever change from Table /chairs to booth?

Found a 2 year old 34' TT, everything is there what we want with the exception of it has the table and 4 chairs. We actually prefer the booth, my question is, if it tuns out that we use the table and chairs for awhile and decide we would really rather have the booth, can we purchase a new booth directly from Jayco?
Anyone have an idea on the cost?
Maybe we have to go thru a dealer?
I would plan on taking out and installing myself (can't be that difficult)
Thoughts?

i'm thinking you would be the first to want to go from table/chair to a booth. To me, booths are crowded. Personally, i'd go from booth to a bar with bar stools!

My wife is wanting me to take out the booth seating in the TT we purchased this fall and replace with chairs. They're in perfect condition. If you can figure out a way to get them from Kansas to Ohio you can have them.

I’m not sure if it’s across all lines, but the face was holding all the weight on the end of mine. It was also made of presswood. It collapsed. I rebuilt the whole thing with real wood, and replaced the plywood with 3/8 instead of 1/4. It was also only stapled together. Mine is glued, braced, and pocket screwed now.

We owned a 34’ travel trailer that had table and chairs and we did not like it. There was not enough space in the slide with the couch to sit comfortably. When we traded it for our current HT 27.5rkds, we ordered the booth option. For us, we both have had hp replacement surgery, the booth set up works better, also the extra storage is nice. we camp as a couple as our son is grown up.

yes it can be done .I put a booth in a 2010 designer 5th wheel .I ordered the matching cushions from jayco ,4 pieces over 500.00 dollars and they wanted over 1,500.00 for complete booth . I had a local cabinet shop build the booth for about 1,000.00 using quality matching cherry wood . much better quality. jayco said they attached their booth to the wall for needed support and my trailer did not have any backer support inside the wall to attach to so their booth would not be strong enough only attached to the floor.

Hated the booth/table in our previous TT so ordered our W Hawk with the table and 4 chairs. Its a little tight, but we also ordered the fold out couch that can be moved to the far end of the slide and pick up a few extra inches. Just DW and I so we removed 2 of the chairs and are storing them for when one of the others breaks. Gives you the look and feel of home and a lot nicer to sit vs the bench.

We didn't care for the chairs (hard to move in and out when sitting). Pulled out the chairs and replaced with two leather ottomans with storage.
