Apply Rustcheck or Paint surface rust on Frame?

Last week I crawled under our 145RB to check it out and noticed surface rust on some sections of the frame.

Should I try to clean it and paint it with something like Rustoleum or just spray it with Rustcheck?

Rustcheck worked for me .... better than spray paint to stop rust. Its really a pain to prepare the surface properly ... rustcheck you spray and voila :-)

I noticed several different aerosol cans. Which one is best to cover rust spots on the frame?

Seems as if this product is only available in Canada. Anyone know of a comparable U.S product?

POR-15 is a good choice. Not easy to apply necessarily, but works well.

I've used the red can, there is also a green one apparently the stuff is thicker and run less, I might try this one next time

Being in the south it's hard to tell but I use Fluid Film.
Every thing always looks good and it makes me feel better.

I sprayed mine with Rustoleum. I've brushed it with Rustoleum. I scraped/sanded before and not done it. The rust still comes back. Maybe I'll try covering it with RustChech after painting next time.

Same experience for me , so Rustcheck is the way to go, less headaches, better results
