ARB Fridge

Hey guys,

I searched this topic but had trouble finding anything. A few years back before I owned a TT I purchased an ARB Fridge (AC/DC) for my truck. Fast forward and I now own a 154BH, I went to plug in the fridge as a back up to the trailer fridge when dry camping (80% of what we do). Well the only 12v port in the whole trailer is for the TV and it's too tight for the fridge plug. I assume it's because the TV is a very low draw appliance.

My question is, what's my best option to power the fridge, add a 12v cigarette plug under the bed or can I get a good power inverter that will power all my 110v receptacles. Is there something I'm missing? I guess I was just shocked that there is nothing stock to run a 12v appliance when dry camping

Thanks!

I suggest adding a 12v plug. Inverters Are only about 90% efficient so you’ll probably lose 1 amp an hour just turning the inverter on, plus the amps that the ARB is drawing.

X2 add an aux 12v plug. I added about 6 12V plugs around my TT. I even have one in the exterior frig access panel.

Inverters are power hogs.
