X2 we camped here in Aug. Nice campground. They have sites on river or lake.

Campfire Lodgings in Asheville, about 15 mins from downtown if I remember right. We stayed there several years ago. Beautiful camp sites. The driveway to it is pretty steep.

Rutledge Lake is just off I-26 in Fletcher maybe 20 minutes outside Asheville. It is very well kept.
