Atwood heater 2 valve only

]So I have a 2017 23BHM. Atwood 6 gallon heater. I run out of water while taking a shower at about the 2 minute mark. Goes from very comfortable shower to ice cold. I think the previous owner may have winterized but not sure. Just bought this from him a few months ago. So I have 2 valves . 1 for the hot line and 1 for the cold line with a vertical hose connecting both and there is no bypass valve installed. With this hose completely open should I also leave both of the valves open too? Just not sure of where these valves should be set.www.forestriverforums.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=150116&d=1504113995"]http://https://www.forestriverforums.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=150116&d=1504113995[/URL

There should be a bypass valve in the vertical hose (which should be closed during normal operation), otherwise, you're getting cold mixing with the hot. It should look like this:

Your attachment link isn't coming up. Can you send a picture, or a detailed description of exactly what your valves look like?

You may have two 3-way valves. Jayco has varied the configuration a few times.

Is the valve at the tee or in mid stream, like RetiredOne shows?
