Atwood propane water heater

We own a 2017 284bhbw. 3 months old and the water heater already quit working. It pulses propane for 6 to 8 sec but never Sparks. The lights on the board dont light up. Made by Atwood. Thermocouple in wiring looks good. Any ideas? Reading online it sounds as if board has already gone bad since no spark and no lights on. What are ya'lls thoughts?

We live in it while our house is being built, so taking it in and leaving it for a few weeks is not an option. Pisses me off. Between bed breaking, all the water leaks for lack of crimping, black and grey water tank gauges inop, gaps on bathroom door so wide door barely latches, etc. Jayco's quality has gone in the trash.

Since you can't really take it in for service at this point I would try to light the pilot when you hear the gas with one of those long bbq butane lighters. If that doesn't work call Jayco and explain what is going on they may approve a mobile RV service to come to you, have your VIN ready when you call.

I found a 2 amp fuse on the circuit board that was blown on my water heater. I replaced it and now my water heater works just fine.

+1 I second the 2 amp fuse on the board. In my walk through a month ago, they warned me that the 2 amp fuse could blow and the check there first.

Hmm. I tried to pull mine out. It's stuck. Burned/melted in I guess. I'm afraid to pull any harder and breaking it and having the dealer say it's my fault board went bad.

If it is partially melted I would take it back to the dealer to have them check it out. Mine blew because I used a crescent wrench to unscrew the drain plug and I inadvertently touched the wrench to metal and blew the fuse.

My pilot keeps going out. It is windy on some days and a slight breeze on others. Is it normal for it to go out like this? I've been thinking of adding a second piece of metal about 1 to 1.5 away to block the wind but still with gaps around it and maybe a few holes drilled into it.
