Auto level 5th Wheel

I have Auto Level on my 5th Wheel. I have the unit engaged in my driveway. 1st time hooking up solo. I'm assuming that the first thing I do is disengage the auto level by pushing the Retract All button and when that is complete I hit the Hitch Height button to reset the hitch height. Right/Wrong? My owners manual does not address that issue as part of the hooking up sequence. Help!!!

On mine which is the 4 jack system I just hit the hitch height. When I do that the rear jack lift the the front adjust to the hitch height setting that was stored. If you hit the retract all it's going to retract all jacks and also clear the stored hitch height.

DO NOT retract all unless you are already hooked up...it'll lower your front all the way to the ground.

X2 What Danno said. Retract REAR first. There should be a label with instructions behind one of the cargo doors.

I am staying very long term at a KOA, dirt site. Should I re-auto level every so often? Seems like there will be some settling going on

On ours, I just hit Hitch height. The rear jacks automatically retract first, then the front legs raise to the correct hitch height. Just be careful to check the hitch height when you move the TV close to the pin in case the front jacks had sunk a bit while sitting.
