Awning

What's the best product to clean the white underside of the awning on a 2016 29qbs?

I've always used purple power. Spray top and bottom, roll up and leave 10-15 minutes, roll out and hose off. Done often enough, no scrubbing required. Have done this for 13+ years on our 8 rigs.

If that doesn't work to your satisfaction, try Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. Lots of elbow grease doing it but it takes the crap/mold/grime right off. Just have a towel and water available.

I open the awning and use my power washer for both sides each spring. I let it dry and roll it up. No effort and works and looks great. I also tried the other method of spraying with a cleaner and rolling it up for 15 min., then open and rinse off which also works; but after I tried cleaning with the power washer and seen the results, that sold me.

Pressure washer works too, I just don't feel like getting the pressure washer out every trip we make, which is often. We detail the rig every trip, which is every other week if not more often. Several ways to clean it for sure. Trick is, clean it often, avoid a pain in the butt later.

I have always opened awning, put dawn dish soap and bleach in a 5 gallon bucket, taken a cup and soak awning on both sides, roll awning up and let soak.

Then open awning and put more on and scrub with brush if needed. Usually all you need to do is rinse both sides.
