Awning Difficulty

Have been using our awning with no problems for the past five weeks.
Put it up last night due to predicted high winds.

Now, when I try to pull it down, it will not roll down on the rear end of the roller. Rolls fine on the release latch (front) end.

Any ideas to release the stuck rear end of the roller?

Thanks....

Make sure the release arm is not stuck to the vertical bracket. I think the arm goes over or inside of the vertical arm to close.

sometimes you have to lift that end up and out to get over the bracket if it is stuck. Mine used to do that all the time. a little lubricant up there might not hurt at all either. Just grab the arm and lift up an inch and then towards you. Probably take care of it.

This did the trick. Small black u-clip on that arm needed help to release. My gratitude!
