Awning disaster

Hello RV owners! i’m one of those guys that forgot to roll in my awning during a heavy rainstorm. Yes, one side collapsed. I have a 2019 Jayco 28RLS. The awning is 18 feet long.
Does anyone know where I can buy just the non-motorized side of the awning without buying the complete set? Jayco gave me the whopping price of $1100 I assume that’s about a 400% markup. Carefree awning arms on Amazon All show a longer mounting bracket. They suggest the model Compass. But it is a set for $600 plus SH.

Have you called Carefree if Colorado themselves? If not try.

I concur, call Carefeee. I just talked to them last week about a part for ours. I Learned they change styles like I change socks. couldnt read the s/n so I had to send them pics of mine so they could figure out which one I had. Very nice hassle free company. Ended up being the best part of my day talking to that lady in customer service

When I needed one arm only I bought it from Tweety's. There are separate part numbers for the arms and the roller tube. As the others suggest, I would still call Carefree first.

Edit: It's been a few years but I remember it taking only a couple of days to get it. It was shipped from the southern Atlanta area, so you might be able to pick it up at their supplier.

I helped a neighbor do a similar repair on his TT and I was able to find the parts we needed on eBay.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I called Carefree. The lady was helpful but even there they only sell the set. Even then it won't match because the trailer mounter bracket is longer than mine. Reseal everything! About $620 for the set with shipping.
