Awning Material Wrong Side?

Friends:

2019 Jayco 264BH. I had it in the shop for gutter leak repair and now the material on the awning appears to have been flipped. I looked back at some pictures and the material was black or charcoal when rolled up, now it is white. Any thoughts? Is it possible to flip the material when rolling up?

Thanks,
Rick

Just a thought, if you have a power awning, it's possible whomever rolled it out pushed the switch the wrong way and rolled it up upside down. Run it out, and retract it, and you should be back in business.

Been there..done it. Actually my wife did. She couldn't figure out how it happened. I told her, if you hold the switch in constantly, it'll keep opening and closing...flip flopping the material. My opinion is, it should have a stop.

I just learned of this yesterday. I was putting it out and thought I let off the switch in time, but it acted as if it would continue on around. I decided that it could, but didn't test the theory.

It’s not like a slide out! Electric awnings have to be visually monitored because how far it goes out is dependent on many variables.

Wow! So much for their “highly trained RV repair professionals”.
“You want fries with that repair?”
