Awning Noise

Hello,

My awning makes a noise coming from the left arm, usually only when closing. Any idea what is wrong?

Thanks!

The piston needs some dry PTF lube.

Make sure that your awning nuts are loose when retracting. X2 on the above suggestions.

Thanks Guys! All nuts are loose.

Grumpy - is this an example of the product you are referring to?

Looks fine. Any silicon spray is good. Mine makes an ugly noise particularly when wet. But I keep a can of spray and life is good. Oh, the note above on the "loose" nuts is a must.
