awning prints

I just got my new 2022 Jayflight 184BS TT. The awning shows some deep prints from the rolling axis. See photo attached. Is this normal, or should I be concerned?

Never seen one do that. Have the dealer look at it. I would worry about premature holes/tears.

Can't really see on my phone screen, but they appear to be wrinkles.

I tend to agree, never seen that kind of notable 'in-print' before on awning fabric.

Definitely start a service warranty paper-trail with you RV dealership.

I would send that photo to the manufacturer and see if they can offer any reasons / suggestions. I would take the manufacturer's explanation over the builder or dealer.

I've had awning questions (not problems) for Dometic and they provided excellent customer service. Carefree has solved two within-warranty awning problems I had for no charge without having to go to a dealer.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll do that.
