Axles Offset

I notice my front and rear tandem axles are offset from each other? Is this an issue?

Did you turn to get into that spot? Looks like the tires are just skewed a bit from a turn?

When turning a tandem axle trailer, the tires will tend to lean in or out accordingly depending on which way you turn. This is caused by one of the axles having to 'slide' since they would rather go straight.

I did not turn intentionally to get this picture, but I will look again when I have my truck in line next time. Thank you.

Not much you can really do, maybe go to an axle shop! If under warranty I would just watch the tire wear.Just in the process of having both axles replaced on our 2016 Eagle. Waited until the end of the warranty! You maybe able to get $25.00 per tire on warranty. Thanks

Could very well be a bent axle.

That tire will get eaten up on the inside rather quickly.

I know this because I had the same thing happen recently.

Looking at the tire track behind the tire and the position of the truck you were doing a turn to the left. That will deflect the tires the way they are show in the photos.

If you want to really worry just back it real tight to almost 90deg and look at the wheels in the mirror when you do it.
