Backup camera on metal wall TT

I am looking into wireless backup camera for my jay flight however, some info I read says that an aluminum skin TT will not work with a wireless camera due to signal interference. Is this true, anyone have any success or failure stories?

We installed a Furrion wireless back up( rear view) camera and it works fine.

It would be very hard for RV dealers to sell these things if they did not work with an aluminum sided RV.

Works fine on mine. Sometimes I get a little signal drop here and there, but nothing serious.

On my previous rig, Furrion camera, F250 pulling a 30 foot TT, signal never dropped off.

Try to mount the camera as high as possible, with at least part of the antenna higher than the TT roofline.

We installed a Furrion wireless system on our 212QBW. Ran into an issue with a weak signal but changed out the antenna for one with higher output (and taller) which looks like it cleared up the issue. However, if I were to do it again, I would look into a wireless system designed for commercial semis. I've seen these in use and they produce a stronger signal and cleaner picture. Cost is about the same.
