Baked on Black Streaks

I searched the forum for this, but couldn't find anything. Sorry if this asked a lot. I was able to get the black streaks off on three sides Of my aluminum SLX 287BHS using Simple Green. I also cleaned the roof using same. However on the driver side they appear to baked on and won't come off. It is the side facing east. Any suggestions on how to remove them?

Thanks Bigbear. But isn't Simple Green similar to Awesome? These streaks appear to be baked in. I may run tomorrow and get some though.

Thanks Meeker.
Have you tried this on baked in streaks? I used Simple Green on the other sides and the roof and it worked like a charm. Not trying to be smart or difficult, but it seems like I'll need to buff them out of the aluminum. Believe me, I would much rather just use Awesome or Martins. I'll give Martins or Awesome a shot first, of course.
Thanks again.

Try a wax that has some cleaning agent(s) in it like Mcguires. It will dissolve road tar on my cars, so it should remove the black streaks.

Skeeter I have used both and LA awesome works much better, as previously suggested follow up with a good wash and wax. Worst case scenario you’re out a buck.

Thanks again Bigbear!! That's my thoughts. Really want to avoid buffing. I'll grab some Awesome, and if it works I can tell the boss (wife) that I am indeed AWESOME!! Lol

That would be for Fiberglass, not aluminum. I have aluminum siding on my RV.

I got a funny story about Awesome cleaner.

My brother-in-law, who by the way was always playing jokes on people, wanted to pull one on my Dad. He was bragging to my Dad on how good this Awesome cleaner was in removing the black marks off his RV. He had an almost empty bottle of Awesome cleaner. So he pre-sprayed the black marks on his RV with the almost empty bottle of Awesome but did not wipe it off, he just let it dry. Then he rinsed out the used bottle and trigger several times and then filled it with beer. We were all camping together at the time and most of us were in on the joke. So he asked my Dad to come over to his RV and check out on how great this Awesome cleaner was. He sprayed the beer on the area where he pre-sprayed with the actual Awesome cleaner and then wiped the area. Sure enough the black streaks came off.

Then he told my Dad, "this Awesome cleaner tastes great too, like a very good lager!" He proceeded to spray the beer that was in the Awesome bottle into his mouth. My Dad started yelling, calling him crazy and stupid for spraying what he thought was Awesome cleaner in his mouth. It was the best practical joke ever pulled on my Dad. I'll never forget it.

Did you dilute it or use it full strength? I have some that are baked on as well and tried the Awesome cleaner but they are still there. I may have diluted it a little too much

I just tested it on a few small areas, did not dilute. Straight from spray bottle. But I didn't use the bleach Awesome, used Awesome Oxygen Orange. .. I was concerned about using the strong stuff.

I'll have to try the Awesome orange. I've been using the regular stuff with varying success for a while.

On my aluminum travel trailer, it helped with the baked on black streaks, but didn't completely do the job. On my MH, it works pretty well. I use it on the front as a pre-treatment, let it sit for a few minutes and then hit it with Meguiars wash-n-wax and it works pretty well so far.
