Bathroom Door Options
So I have a 2012 Jayco Swift 198RD. I bought it several weeks ago, and have been working on replacing a few things to get it ready for camping. The bathroom has been the challenge, with new fan assembly, new toilet (shipping) and lack of bathroom door. Seems the previous owners kids destroyed the door, with the frame even missing. It is just the 2 x 3 frame, with a 75 x 22.5 opening.
I contacted Jayco (World Wide RV) and made inquiries on ordering a new solid door. Wow, I was not expecting that to be a huge production. The manager Christine was super helpful, but the door and frame (have to buy frame sections, and cut to length would be a whopping $310+ for the door and three 84" sections. I am going to reframe the doorway and use a pleated folding door instead. I have looked online for a comparable replacements, but it is like finding hen's teeth. Anyone have the same issue, and what did you use as a replacement?

You could check out Trekwood and see if they have anything that fits.

1 piece of luan, some furring strips and stain and make your own. Use a hook and eye to keep it closed.

I would make my own door by purchasing a used hollow core door and cutting it down. Don’t cut the hinge side, cut the knob side then top or bottom to the proper size and reinforce as necessary ( it’s hollow core so you can work from the inside). Buy the door frame used also and cut that down. Used Door & frame cost should be around $25.00 then you need new hinges and knob. For someone that’s handy that project is an easy one.

The wife and I noticed that the bathroom door in our 175RD creates a "choke point" when the door is being opened or left open. We are considering replacing the door with a Nautilus Retractable RV Shower Door.

The nautilus is an interesting option, although it only goes to 71" height. So there would be a space. I am going to frame out the doorway myself, and then decide on either a pleated folding door, which is fairly inexpensive, or buy the Door from Jayco, and install that myself, which is pretty straightforward. Thanks to all for the input and options. Keep them coming. I did check with several surplus sites, and no doors available.
