Want more power as this tiny thing doesnt move much air.

What is best option or any options?

Vortex 1 or 2?
What else without tearing up roof.

Thanks.

I just bought this Vortex-II, plan to install it this weekend. Price wise the Vortex-II seemed like the best deal.

Vortex I is single speed and runs in exhaust mode only. Vortex II has multiple speeds and can either exhaust out or pull in. I put a Vortex I in the bathroom and a Vortex II in the main vent this spring. Both work great.

Don't all of the Fantastic fans require removal of the OEM roof vent?

I put a Vortex 2 in to replace the OEM bathroom fan. Love the multiple speeds and the air it moves. Usually it is on on low, but we put it up to high for showers to get the moisture out, or medium to draw warm air out of the trailer.

The original fan did not move much air since it had no shroud.

As I recall this is true and why I went with the Vortex fans.

I'm a big bathroom fan. I use them all the time. Wouldn't know what to do without them. They are indispensable. I think they are great.

Signed,
A Big Bathroom Fan

The small OEM fan is called a stink fan as its primary function is to "clear the bathroom" air and is pretty useless otherwise. I replaced it with a fantastic fan unit. Its true that you have to pull the oem shroud and vent assembly but it is a simple job and uses the same opening in the roof. Just remember that when you turn the new fan on exhaust, make sure you have a window open somewhere in the rv. Otherwise there is only one place for air to come in and you won't like the smell.
