Battery connections

Sorry I did look this up but I didn’t see anything specific to this. Just bought a new battery apparently it’s been a long winter because I can’t remember which connection goes where. I have a solid white wire and then I have a green black and a black and red wire. Can anybody tell me which one connect to which?

The white is your ground it goes to the negative terminal. The green / black / red goes to the positive.

I am sure you are not the only one that did this. We all have had a brain fart one time or another.

Make sure the white is connected to the frame, never know if someone changed the wire around. Check the others while you are at it. Mark them with red and black tape near the end for future reference.

I have learned to photo what ever I am planning to disassemble and to keep taking photos as I move through the process.

I also took a piece of Yellow Electrical tape, and used a sharpie to mark a "+" & "-" on each wire lead, to remind me.
