Battery Disconnect

Should I unhook the battery when the trailer is in the storage lot? I did this with
the old trailer. Proud owner of a 2025 Jayco flight 175BH version

If it's in storage for the winter I would remove the battery and put it on a tender not a trickler. If in storage for a month or two I would use the battery disconnect switch if you have one.

Here a small solar panel would also work.

If you use the battery disconnect it may leave the CO monitor alive and it will drain a battery flat in a month or less.

I like solar or using a battery tender. I like the Battery Tender brand. Bought a Harbor Freight model and checked and it was frying my battery at 15 volts charge current so took it back.

Even with solar I would make sure the battery is disconnected from all loads in case the solar goes bad or is covered in snow.

2 amp power jumper

OK Let's try this question again. I have a 2 amp battery jumper. Is this enough to power the trailer for a short time instead of hauling the big battery out? The jumper is a Buture Beta01.
How many amps are needed to power the trailer lights?
