Battery Disconnect?

We are getting ready to purchase a small Jayco 154BH TT, and it appears that there is no battery disconnect switch on these TT's. We just sold our T@G teardrop, which had a battery disconnect switch in the front tub that made it easy to be able to completely disconnect the battery from the trailer's electrical system. Assuming I'm correct on there being no battery disconnect on Jayco TT's, can anyone offer as to why that is? I know I can just disconnect a battery cable, but I got spoiled just turning a knob - thanks.

A possible reason they don’t have a complete disconnect standard, they have partial disconnects. They leave power going to the smoke detector, CO2 detector, level system and maybe trailer brakes. Make no sense, those items have enough parasitic draw to kill the batteries in a week or two.

I really like the BLUE SEA SERIES ROTARY Switches like shown here... These are sealed switches and do the make before break when being used. This greatly reduces the arcing between the contacts.

These switches also support the ring terminals cables ends like used on your battery hookups...

You can find these switches and short jumper cables with ring terminals from AMAZON...

I am looking at the pictures and it shows plus lead going from one
battery to the other which give more capacity.

The great thing about using a switch is you can select one/both or off.
Just connect a plus lead to each side of the switch with the center
lead to the rv. Both negative leads to the rv.
That way if you have a dead battery you can use only the good one.
I also turn off the switch & charge the batteries separately because
a charger will turn off when one of the batteries is full.
Example: My generator would not start on both batteries because one
battery was dead. Switched to good battery & gen started.
