Battery Disconnect
I have a 2019 Jayco Jay Flight - do you know if there is a battery disconnect switch?

Congratulations on the new JayFlight and welcome to the forum.
My money is on 'No' factory battery disconnect switch. Have you asked your dealer or Jayco?

Thanks so much!! I love it
I have not asked them yet. I'm finding my battery drains when I'm not using it and wanted to have a quick way to disconnect vs having to remove the connection from the terminal.

Welcome to JOF!
I installed one on my Jay Flight. There are a number of articles here on the forum that describe the process and of course YouTube has a bunch!

There is enough parasitic drain to make the battery absolute when going below 11.9 volts.
Keep it plugged in or install the disconnect.

Thanks! Still figuring out how to use this thread - so not sure if you received my other message. It's already drained twice. I'm going to look into installng one.

That is probably a great decision. Draining the battery completely will significantly damage it and multiple times may wreck it completely.
I've installed this guy - https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it is working very nicely. It doesn't have the little rubber boot that this video shows ( https://youtu.be/j5hIxEtZDDo), I still need to figure that out.
Good luck!

I just ordered this online for our new x213:
https://www.amazon.com/Audew-Battery...ateway&sr=8-18
I plan to install it in the battery box. I'll post pictures when I'm done.

Installed the battery disconnect into the battery box. Inserted into the positive wire. Pictures are attached.

Mine’s right behind the batteries on the A-frame. Kinda hidden, which I like.

Years ago, they were standard on many mfg's product. My 2011 Eagle did not come with one. I added one in the battery compartment. There are a good many threads on JOF on where/ how members installed them.

Why did you install on positive? I have read numerous articles that say it should be installed on negative.

I don't think it makes a huge difference for the battery disconnect. I only know that when you work on the battery to pull the negative wire first, so you don't short circuit the battery when that wire touches the frame by accident.

BINGO!
Over the last two years, that has worked like a charm.
Easy, fast and completely isolates the battery, preventing drain.

I have a 2019 Jayflight. No battery disconnect switch. Best installation I’ve seen is on the battery box lid. Excellent instructions available on YouTube.

Just have to remove the existing positive cable from the battery, attach it to the switch, buy a 12" cable with ring terminals attach one end to switch the other to the battery.
