Battery Question

I just received my new 2016 Jay Flight 26BH. The battery already drained itself before leaving my driveway one factor might have been my husband turning off all breakers including converter. I tried to plug it in to house power with a 15/30 adapter but I'm not sure if this 15A connection can charge the battery. Our manual is so generic and no help whatsoever and this is my first trailer. Thanks for all help

Plugging it in to a 15a house plug will allow the batteries to be charged by the converter. Make sure all breakers are on and it is plugged in. Normal lights and other things should be watched closely and I would not turn the ac on while on a 15a service.

If they have been drained, and are being recharged, you should check the water level and top off with distilled water. BTW, if everything was off (that runs on 12v) it should take weeks for a good battery to discharge even nominally.

There are a number of parasitic drains on the battery that you can not turn off without much trouble. It is best to leave it plugged in if possible or disconnect the battery if not.
