Battery / shore power concern

Updated from last... I checked all fuses by battery and power tongue check.
my 2013 dsre only has battery power to the stablizer jacks. my info panel
shows 0 battery . no inside lights, slides etc. when i plug in shore power
everything works and panel shows full battery.. Just stuck since the stabilzers
work on battery and nothing else. Thanks in advance for any help .

Did you have the batteries out?

Jacks are wired directly to the battery.

You probably have a blown reverse polarity fuse in the converter.

Yes took out over the winter, also I was a bit confused I noticed there was a fused wire going to the negative pole of battery not sure if I messed up and that should be on the plus pole. the reverse polarity fuse you mention in the convertor where would that be in front of box orf inside of box , thanks in advance

Shouldn't be a fuse on the negative side. Reverse polarity are in front with the other fuses usually off by themselves.

Here's a link to a previous discussion about them on JOF

When connected to shore power, the Converter converts some of the 120V AC power is to 12V DC. This is why the items will work when connected to shore power.

I think Grumpy is on the right track, check the reverse polarity fuse.

There should be no fuse on the negative battery terminal. This post sounds alot like this one. https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...ing-86828.html

As for the stabilizers working and nothing else does. They maybe connected directly to the battery and not to the main fuse box and polarity may not matter.

Good luck

Only other possibility is the factory disconnect is on. It allows power to only certain items.
