Is there a reason that it has to fasten to the camper? I wouldn't put a charcoal grill anywhere near the side of my trailer.....

I accidentily had a propane bbq too close to the side of the trailer, left soot marks that I could not get off the trailer. I keep the bbq a fair distance away now.

http://www.napoleongrills.com/Gourme...gas_grill.html

this is the one that i am using for the last two years now, still going strong and I bbq at least 5 times a week, winter time too. The ignitor gave up a long time ago, the burner assembly is stainless steel and looks like it will go another two years at least.

It folds up nicely and stands up in my basement storage area no problems, just remember to clean out the drip tray first.

Like those little Weber units too, buddy has one, seem well made.

IF your BBQ is leaving soot marks on your trailer then either it or your regulator needs adjusting.. this should never happen..

We had an RVQ that mounted to the side our last camper. I never was a big fan, of having it attatched to the side of our camper, but did use it regularly. I did not like the idea of the grease and smoke on the underside of the awning. We did have a large flare up once that really scared my wife. I prefer not to have it attatched to the side of the camper. Though I really am interested to see what others think, say, and have done.

When ordering our TT we picked every option except the BBQ. I prefer to grill away from the TT under an easy-up canopy. I do not want to take the chance of messing up the side of my TT or have the smoke under the awning. Plus with 4 kids I prefer to keep the hot grill out of the way of them.

We used our RVQ II grill for the first time last weekend and it worked great. One great thing is the solid top that doesn't allow grease to get to the flame. The bracket that holds it provides for about a foot of clearance between the grill and the tt. Just as stated in a prior post if you use the quick disconnect located just under your tt, which is regulated, you don't need the regulater supplied with the grill. Another fyi, the grill has to be level so the grease flows to the rear of the cooking surfaces and to the catch can provided withthe grill.

We have the RVQ that came with the new trailer but my husband doesn't want it near the side of the TT. We have it stored in the garage for when we sell the TT. We have a Weber Q - cast iron, convenient size and works like a gem.

I have one of these
http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&productId=202021597&l angId=-1&catalogId=10053&ci_sku=202021597&ci_kw={keyword} &cm_mmc=shopping-_-googleads-_-28-_-202021597&ci_gpa=pla&locStoreNum=1002

The best part is it has water under the burners to catch the grease so when your done you dump the water and wipe the grill and it's clean. Can be used with the legs or without as a table top model

I brought along two cookers, my 18-1/2 inch Weber kettle grill and my Weber Smoky Mountain Cooker (a smoker). They're both charcoal. I carry them in the pickup bed when traveling, then set them up at the campsite.

I could get by with just the grill, because I know how to set it up and use it like a smoker. But with the Smoky Mountain I can get 10 or more hours cooking time out of a single filling of charcoal, which is nice when smoking a brisket.

I think you can only put water in the black or blue one, the red one has a drip can so I don't thing water will work in that. But I'm not sure that is just what the pictures show.

thanks Guys....I will look at not fastening the grill for reasons mentioned I just have seen a few where they swing out at least 2ft off the rear and you can swing them out of the wind and use the TT as a shield....most likely going with a coleman or weber gas grill that you set up on a table....Thanks

I've been using them for years, no problems, very convenient. Just have to make sure spiders don't get in the air vent/gas mix hole. This will make a smoky mess. You just have to keep the grill out as far as it will go on the rack arms that are supplied with the factory option.

We use the companion, made by the Holland Grill Company. You will never have a bad BBQ. This is a stainless steel non flair unit, and it works great. We have had it for 6 years.

I use a Weber Go Anywhere gas grill.
I have had it for 5 years now with no problems. Paid $55.00
http://http://www.weber.com/explore/grills/gas-portable/gas
I have it hosed to a 20lb cylinder.
I use it on the picnic table with a sheet of wood under it to protect the table.

That's the same one we are currently using. We had one like it years ago that lasted through about 7 or 8 camping seasons. I like that the grill has a cover that can be used while grilling

I have a weber Q120 and have used it for about 4 years and love it. conect it to the Propane tanks or use small canister. Folds up and stores neatly in the front storage compartment on top of the folding cart/stand for it.
