Bed lift Kit for SLX 212QBW

I am looking into purchasing a bed lift kit for my SLX 212QBW. Struts, and spring mounts. Suspa C16-08054 C1608054 20" Gas Prop, Quantity (2), Force 100 Lbs Per Prop, Force Per Set 200 Lbs.

Any installation measurements I need to be aware of? How many beers job is this?

Thanks

I changed the bed in my 212QBW .... i replaced the thin plywood Jayco used with 5/8", built a supporting wall which now seperates the inside storage from the outside, plus also supports the bed.... cut the plywood so the front section is stationary, while the back section inside the unit still lifts up ... but found no need for the struts. No reason to have the entire bed lift if you have to get something from just inside. Thats how Jayco used to do it on the Qwests way back when they actually made the beds sturdy .... and BTW, your mattress will love you for it!

I also cut the plywood and screwed down the front part. Doing so, the 100
Pound struts were to stiff. I ordered 40 pound struts and they were perfect.
