We picked up our new 33rbts last weekend. I had planned on making this modification at some point but one of the stringers snapped the first night. Upon inspection the 1.5" x 1" stringers under the plywood are full of knots ( where the one broke). Instead of helping the Mrs. move into the new camper, I ended up at Lowes purchasing 2x2s to strengthen the plywood and build the support at the pass through storage.

My next task will be to install the head support and enclose the under bed storage as you have done.

Would you he willing to provide more detail on what was done to open up the bottom of the bed to allow tote access,

23RB Mattress Support

I have a 2017 23RB and found the same inadequate mattress support. I added a 2x2 support wall to divide the front passthrough with the under the bed storage and built a new support to put on top of the existing flimsy mattress platform. I have acid reflux so I need to sleep at a slight incline so my added support also included an incline to place my head higher than my feet. I have a couple of pictures in my 23RB modifications album.

I now sleep better in the TT than in my bed at home.
