Bent rear axle

I have a 2019 Jayco Jayfeather 27 BH, got it last September, used it once about a 20 mile trip then put it in storage. We got it out in June for a 600 mile trip, me neighbor noticed 1 wheel bent in. Not knowing this I completed the trip, on our way home my wife was following and thought the tire looked odd.

So I investigated it at home, inside tread is gone!

Axle is bent. From the beginning I believe. The axle co. is shipping a new one.

Anyone experience this?
What could have caused it?

Did you remove the hub and look at the bearings?

x2. Check the bearing adjustment, too. If it is too loose, the tire & wheel will tip in at the top.

Jack it and check for play in the bearings. Most axles have a bow shaped bend in them, unless you have already done that.
