Best sewer hose?

Newbie here.
I’m not opposed to paying more for a quality hose- but I have yet to find anything that looks like it fits the bill. We bought a RhinoFLEX Extreme at the dealership, but now I’m wondering if we should look for something better as I’ve read rather disconcerting reviews of the hose blowing off the fitting during a dump.

Rhino is what I use and have never had an issue. I would stick with Rhino because they are available anywhere should you ever need any replacement fittings. If the hose hose pops off, you're doing something wrong.

RhinoFlex hose is what I use, too, and never had an issue.

Like Danno said, if it poops off... sorry, pops off... it is due to user error.

I’ve used a Sewer Solution for the last 8 years and it’s performed very well. I put new rubber seals (ordered from amazon) in the “pump” a couple of years ago since I disassembled it to reverse the backflush lever (a convenience issue). I carry 3x10’ of sewer line (90% of the time 10’ is enough) and it will pump uphill if needed, the 30’ of line lets me reach the dump from my spot in storage. Before the 5th I stored it in an open tote that travelled in the shower pan, never smelled.
Best sewer? Everyone probably has a favorite and has good reasons to back it up.

We use rhino flex... Works fantastic.

We carry a few with us.. we stay at this one spot in Texas every year where the sewer connection is about 40' away. Instead of moving, we just hook the hoses to each other and dump once every 12 days.

I've had the same Rhino Flex since 2010. It started to drip, once, after about 5 years, where the hose meets the connectors. I loosened the connection, twisted the hose in a little farther, and tightened the connection. Problem solved.

I could see how the hose could pop/poop out of the connector if it wasn't put together well enough or the connector wasn't tightened.

It's possible someone makes a better hose, but I haven't needed to look for one.

Like said above, maybe a Rhino Flex could work itself loose if not tightened properly. As far as “popping off”, I don’t see how that’s possible since it’s ends actually thread onto the sewer hose and secured with a ratcheting lock collar instead of being held on by clamps like cheaper hoses. If you manage to pull a Rhino Flex’s end off your doing something extremely wrong.

Not sure what you're looking for in an dump hose to "fit the bill", but as long as it latches onto the connector, I'm not sure how you could go wrong? It's a fairly straight forward process. Maybe you can expand on your concerns?

X2 on the Rhino. No issues here, and plenty of attachments on Amazon.

I've been using the Dominator sewer hoses for about 9 years now and they have been great. I like the fact that it "accordians" to fit the size you need and keeps that size. I carry 3 10' (for full hookup sites) and 1 5' (mostly for dump stations).

Cheaper hoses are made of thin material which develops pinhole leaks where it rubs the concrete and your storage container/bumper over time. Cheaper hoses are attached to their connectors with clamps instead of threading on. The smooth clamped connection will loosen and fail, it’s only a matter of time. Cheaper hoses have cheap thin connectors which break over time or in cooler weather. Nothing like having the bayonets snap of your only sewer hose when you need it. I’ve had my Rhinos for 3+ years now so they are worth the money.

That looks like the collection I used to have, mainly for Rallies...And as has been said, never had any issues over 8 years of use.

I have a 2008 Jayco Seneca. The issue is the hose fittings need to fit down threw the elbow on the swivel exit pipe. I tried a couple and they don’t fit.
